Go check his stuff out at rickpino.com or at his myspace at myspace.com/rickpinoband. It’s awesome. “I Can Hear the Sound” should be an initial listen.
I think it is best described as prophetic worship on steroids.

I first heard Josh Lindsey’s full version of “My Glorious One” on the Worship Leader Podcast a few months ago. Needless to say, I was impressed with the passion I felt coming out in his voice and when he hit the climax of the song, there was some unique vocal technique that really made him stand out, such as one segment that consisted of him bending his pitch upward a few notes on a sustained part. Pretty risky, but he pulled it off. (Incidentally, the whole song, including the part I am talking about, is not on his myspace so you will just have to take my word for it.)
I don’t have his album yet, but I listened to a few of his tracks on his myspace site. His music appears to be an eclectic blend of folk, rock, and worship. “New Man” kind of takes me back to my days at the beach of NC with a 4 Non Blondes, “What’s going on” feel. Definately cool. “Spinning Around” has a harder rock feel to it and “Bigger” and “Glorious One” will take you away in worship. Get the album “Take Your Places” and support Josh.
